Boo night

I've been so sick for the past few weeks.  Maybe I partied away too much...? (nah) This drastic temperature change in L.A hasn't been easy for me either. blah blah blah.
Anyway this year Halloween was on Tuesday. So we started to party from little early. Plus Saturday 27th was Joel's birthday. He was Elton John. I loved his commitment.
p.s. I was a hit girl this year ;)

ここのところずっと風邪をひいてたよ。パーティーのしすぎ？イヤイヤ、、、そんな。
L.Aは近頃、30℃台の暑い日があれば突然気温が下がったりと、あまりの気温の差に風邪ひかないほうがおかしいって。
Anyway今年はハロウィーンが火曜日ということもあり、土曜日くらいからパーティーがちらほら。土曜日はジョエルのbirthdayということもあり、少し早めのハローウィン。
バースデーのご本人は本人とわからないくらいのcommitmentでエルトンになりきってて、ビックリだった〜。
ちなみに私は"kick ass"のhitgirlよん♡

Frogtown ArtWalk

また気づいたら、ずいぶんと間が開いてしまった。

（反省）

忙しいって言っても、時間見つけてブログ書く時間って決めないと

見れなかったテレビ、映画、本にEmailの返事などなど、色々catch upしてると、

あっという間に時間がなくなっちゃう。

でも今後はもっと努力してマメにupするようにします！

今日は数週間前に行われた年に一度のFrogtown ArtWalkについて。

Downtown LAのArtWalkに比べるともう少しタイトなコミュニティーだから、

若者だけじゃなくて老若男女が集まれるよ。

お互い忙しくて会えないお友達やアーティストと再会できて、

会話も弾むし、色々みんなとcatch upできたことが何よりヨカッタ♡

I'm sorry I've been away....again!

Being busy is not good enough reason. I know.

It's just so much work to do and returning Emails and net surfing 

on top of catching up TV shows, movies and books take up most of my time.

But I will definitely keep updating more! I promise!

Today I want to talk about Frogtown ArtWalk that I went to a few weeks ago.

Comparing it to Downtown La ArtWalk, it's more casual and at home.

Because we have such a tight community, it makes it more 

welcoming to not only the youngsters  but from little kids to elders.

Every year gets better and better.

I get to meet my close friends and artists. 

Catching up with them probably was the highlight of my night.

I miss it there. I miss my old neighbors.  :*(

Chinatown Summer Nights

 

Living in L.A for almost 7 years now, I never took a train before.

This time my friend and I took a train and headed to Chinatown for Chinatown Summer Nights event.

The live music, food trucks and nice summer breeze made a perfect night.

L.Aに住んで７年目。今まで一度も公共機関を利用したことがない。

今回初めて、電車に乗ってChinatown Summer Nightsというイベントに行ってみたよ。

バンドの生演奏、たくさんのフードトラックや屋台、そして真夏の夜の風が気持ちよくて、

とても素敵な一夜でした。

I also found this cafe where we shot "This Will All Make Perfect Sense Someday" #Via Cafe.

So I had to pose to the camera and get some of the fashion bloggers inspired pix.

It's been so hot in LA lately.

Did you get to see the finale?

Being a Japanese, of course I will be rooting for Nadeshiko Japan 

but there is something about U.S team that's so charismatic.

Abby Wambach, Alex Morgan and of course Hope Solo.

Although Japan lost to U.S, it was still a great great match.

I LOVED how both teams have great respects towards each other.

Speaking of Olympics, I play these games on my iPhone and

they also have these Olympic themes now. 

I thought I'd share it with you guys. LOL. 

I know it's silly but I love it. (๑´ڡ`๑)♡

LAは毎日暑くて、プールに最適な日々が続いてます。

みんなはオリンピックの女子サッカー決勝戦、観た？

Leniはもちろんリアルタイムで観たよ!!

日本人だから、もちろんなでしこJAPANを応援してたけど、

日本の選手はなんであんなに少年のように若く見えるのに対して

アメリカの選手はアビー•ワンバックといい、アレックス•モーガン、

そしてホープ•ソロといい、カリスマ的で男前！

宝塚ファンになる人の感覚って、こんな感じなのかな？

結局日本は負けちゃったけど、チーム同士がお互いリスペクトし合って、良い試合だったよね。

オリンピックといえば、全然関係ないんだけど、LeniがiPhoneでハマってるゲームもオリンピック仕様に。

I know...ちょっとくだらないんだけど、こういうおままごとみたいなの好きなのさ♡(๑´ڡ`๑)♡

この前、仕事に行く準備をしながらバッグの整理をしてたら、出てくる、出てくる。

リップクリームの数々。

他のバッグに入ってるものを出してみたら、こんなにあった！
（バッグに入っているのだけでも、こんなにあるってことは化粧箱の中に入ってるのも入れたら何個あるんだろう。本当、女の子ってハイメンテナンスだよね。）

それにしても、必要なときにはいくらバッグをひっくり返しても出てこないのはナゼ？

最近一番気に入っているのは、 SMITH'S ROSEBUD SALVE と友達からスペインみやげでもらった
CREMA PROTECTORA PARA.　
ROSEBUD SALVEはパッケージがかわいいから、いつも気になってたんんだけど使い始めたら、かなりイイ！
テクスチャーとしては、リップよりも少し硬めでグロスとリップの間みたいな感じかな。ローズの香りもgood :)
CREMA PROTECTORA PARAはパッケージからもわかるように、オリーブオイルのリップクリーム。
質感もとても柔らかくてちゅるっと潤う感じ。

I was getting ready to go to work the other day and I found tons of lip balms in my bag.
So I gathered other lip balms and glosses from my other bags and voila...!

Maybe away too many (you know these are only from my bags and not counting the ones in my cosmetic train case. sigh. girls.) .....but how come when I'm in need I can't seem to find any in my bag???
I think I need to organize more often.

My latest favorites are SMITH'S ROSEBUD SALVE and CREMA PROTECTORA PARA.
I was always attracted to their cute package designs but never actually used it. The texture it self is pretty stiff and can be used as both lip balm and gloss...I think. It keeps your lips moist for pretty long time without giving you that syrupy thickness. I also got CREMA PROTECTORA PARA as a gift from my friend who recently went to Spain. As you can see it from the package, it is made out of olive oil. This one is super light and gives your that silky moisture.

またまたすっかりご無沙汰している間に、ついにオリンピックが始まりましたね。

開会式、素敵だったね。

Danny Boyle最高！James Bond最高！

そしてLeniも、お誕生日を迎えました。

今年も家族やお友達からプレゼントやメッセージをいただいたり、

お祝いしてもらって本当に幸せ者です。

みんな、どうもありがとう!!

お祝いのメッセージにもあったように、

今年も有意義で、さらに飛躍できる一年にしたいな。

がんばるゾ！っと。

While I've been absent (again), the 2012 Olympic has started.

Did you all get to see the opening ceremony?

I'm a huge fan of Danny Boyle♡ So I enjoyed it from the great entrance of

James Bond and Queen the bond girl to Mr. Bean and everything.

Meanwhile I grew a year older.

I had my friends and family celebrated for me.

Sending me gifts, cards and lovely messages.

I am a one lucky girl♡
